Nice list! Thanks a ton. The majority of these are new to me (except iTalki, LiveMocha, etc)

The ways in which Second Life are used continue to amaze me. I don’t use it, nor do I know anyone in real life that does, but it seems pretty powerful.

If you like WiZiQ, you should learn about eduFire and Dimdim. Both offer similar services and both at least have a free option.

Adobe connect does seem to be the fastest of them all . There was the least amount of latency in adobe connect when i used it, compared to other web conferencing type tools.

De Anna, Here are a couple of additional resources that I've found useful: Nielsen, Jakob, Writing for the Web, a compilation of Nielsen's articles about writing for the web. His site is a real find for this topic as well as usability in general. Redish, Janice (Ginny), Letting Go of the Words: Writing Web Content that Works, Morgan Kaufmann, 2007. ISBN 0-12-369486-8. And, as a soft plug, I've got a section in my book, Managing Writers: A Real World Guide to Managing Technical Documentation, about writing for the web and using the web for technical communication.
